It is all with great zeal of enthusiasm that the students of Edeland grab the generosity of Alhaji Ibraheem Akanbi Babson (PEGBA 1) as he offers PEGBA ACADEMIC GRANT FOR FINAL YEAR PROJECT 2021 in its maiden edition.
The Leadership of the Union together with students from different institutions applied as beneficiaries up to Kashere in Gombe, even reaching UDU in Sokoto, to shed a thorough light on how elaborates the grant is and on the kindness of the initiator and sponsor, a man like Pegba as it is now up to twice a century of months that FELSU and Ẹdẹ students received such great attention from a philanthropist.
Just recently when FELSU submitted lists of beneficiaries to Pegba as larger numbers turned out to grab with two arms with the chanting of "Ma kọjá mi, olùgbàlà......."
National President of the Union, Habeeb O. Ayinla eulogised this rare benefactor and passed a powerful note of thank for his kind gesture at this time when people are in need of one help or the other. Habeeb added that his intervention is timely. The benefactor, Alhaji Babson, Pegba 1 in his response said, Ẹdẹ is our home and our "Makkah", we have to build it together, and he quickly reminded FELSU of their motto "Ilé l'àbọ̀ ìsinmi oko."
The above touched the heart of one of the FELSU delegates, who were in the beneficiaries collation meeting, that this will be the first time that a man of this large heart will express such a word that motivated him more. He jocularly said, Mr. President, we shall confer on Pegba 1, "THE FATHER OF TENS OF THOUSAND CHILDREN."
