It was all astonishing display as Students and Schools came out en masse to jostle for The Quick Thinkers 21, that is, The Ọba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Mathematics Competition 2021 sponsored by Hon Bamidele Salam ESQ.
As earlier announced, this will be the first Academic Competition in honor of the great Monarch and the only First Class Ọba in Nigeria that is a Mathematician, to this wide, the expectation and performances of our teeming students was so high and we can not but also appreciate the great support we received from Schools for putting up a standard that Ẹdẹ Students can compete with the level of Lagos and Abuja when it comes to Mathematics Competition.
It is important to remember that the Competition is supported by the National Mathematical Board, which supplied the study guide, Examination Questions, and Marking Guide fr the Competition.
102 Participants entered the Competition for the Junior Category while 144 entered for the Senior Category combined from the two Centers designated for this Competition.
The Quick Thinkers 21 team of FELSU immediately swing to action to Mark, collate and put the results together for publishing at the Ede South Exam Centre under close supervision.
To this end, the Quick Thinkers 21 Team set 44 as Benchmark for the Junior Category and 50 as Benchmark for the Senior Category.
According to the rankings of the score, The Top 41 Participants in the Junior Category will make it to the Second Stage while the Top 46 Participants in the Senior Category will have The Number Lord for the Second Stage!!
The Second Stage will host the 87 Participants in A QUICK MATHS RUN and the 20 Best will be picked for the Grand Finale. 10 For Junior and 10 For Senior Category. The Second Stage holds on 9th December, 2021.
